Being better today than you were yesterday is a basic responsibility of being human.
I believe that ethics and sustainability are just as important as other performance metrics. It is essential to be responsibly profitable, to leave places better for having operated there. Even when it hasn’t seemed likely, I have learned that staying true to my principles always pays off. If you are in a position to make a positive difference, why wouldn’t you?
I have the honour of serving as a Trustee for the Gary and Vivienne Player Foundation and as non-executive director at Blair Atholl Pre-Primary School. With the guidance of the incredible individuals I serve with, we are well on our way to achieving the objective of ensuring the school will be financially sustainable by making astute and prudent decisions.
